Miami, FL – February 7, 2020– Miami can now experience upscale dishes from Canada’s celebrated restaurant group. The highly anticipated restaurant, Moxie’s, opens today in the heart of Mary Brickell Village in downtown Miami – their first location in the United States outside of Texas.

Just steps from American Airlines Arena, the newly opened Miami Central Brightline Station, Brickell Key and more, the restaurant offers a one-of-kind dining experience that complements the Miami spirit. The high-end design of the restaurant includes a massive outdoor al fresco wrap-around dining space with a historic Banyan tree. Inside, the bar is the main fixture with over 20 televisions. High-tops tables are located next to the bar for a lounge feeling while booths and standard seating are placed all around the main dining room.
Hailing from Canada with over 60 locations, Moxie’s brings its distinct flavor and taste to Miami with international dishes made with fresh ingredients. Curated by Executive Chef Brandon Thordarson. who will work alongside Head Chef Jimmy Jaques, the menu features dishes including Sushi Cones, made of tempura shrimp with avocado, pea shoots, nori crisps and drizzled with sesame chili ponzu; Red Thai Curry Bowl with stir-fried veggies, jasmine rice and curry-buttered naan; Blackened Chicken Burger made with crisp pancetta, bacon, cheddar, roasted garlic, mayo, shredded lettuce and tomato; and a Canadian classic, Poutine served with fresh cut fries, hot gravy and cheese curds. Besides lunch and dinner, foodies can enjoy in Vegetarian Huevos Rancheros, Smoke Salmon Goat Cheese & Egg White Omelet and a Sicilian Sausage Hash during Moxie’s brunch.
The bar scene will be just as strong as the culinary while offering innovative craft cocktails such as the Strawberry Ghost Pepper Margarita and a House-made Hard Lemonade made with Tito’s Vodka. The vast wine list is crafted by sommelier Darren Fabian. The stand-alone bar is adorned with 20 TV’s, marble finishes and specially crafted bar chairs. A plentiful happy hour is offered from 3 – 6 p.m. and includes specially priced cocktails and shared plates. The friendly energy of the bar can be felt throughout the restaurant as it is located in the epicenter of the restaurant.
